At the Science Center of the Universum Bremen children, adolescents and adults go on an expedition through the imaginary continents Human Beings, Earth and Cosmos. Here various scientific phenomena can be explored with all the senses. It is the objective of the Universum to create an incomparable place which allows visitors to participate in the miracles of life and the environment in a playful and thoroughly enjoyable way. In 2007, next to the EntdeckerPark (Discovery Park) with the Turm der Lüfte (Tower of the Skies), the new SchauBox building was inaugurated, where special exhibitions take place. Here GfG designed the first exhibition, “Chocoladium”. It could be seen until the end of 2008.

‘Chocoladium’ exhibition
Two Bremen institutions joined each other in this exhibition: the Universum Science Centre and the venerable chocolate manufacturing company Hachez. The different stages of chocolate production were presented on a floor space of 700 square metres. In cooperation with the concept developers from Petri & Tiemann as well as the scientific staff of the Universum Bremen, GfG designed the “Chocoladium” in the SchauBox with several theme and event zones. An exhibition for all the senses, in particular that of taste.
